At Lilybelle Early Education Centre we recognise families as children's first and most influential teachers. We have a commitment to provide a quality service which promotes an approach of mutual respect, effective collaboration and support between educators, children, families and management. We aspire to build genuine partnerships where each other's knowledge is respected and trusted to encourage open communication and shared decision making.
Families are the bridge between home and the centre. Each individual family is valued for their traditions, cultural heritage and beliefs. Families are encouraged to be involved in the service and share their interests, traditions and customs.
Children are competent, capable and unique individuals who have the right to learn through their play. We believe play should be spontaneous, hands-on, exciting and challenging. By providing opportunities for children to discover, create, explore, problem solve and experiment we are supporting each child to reach their full potential whilst encouraging a love of learning.
At Lilybelle we want children to feel safe, respected, supported and valued so they confidently develop independence and social skills that are essential to school preparedness. We encourage relationships built on kindness, thoughtfulness, inclusivity and honesty. We support children to develop resilience and build the necessary skills to meet daily challenges.
Educators and Programme
Our objective is to ensure the guiding principles of the National Quality Standards (NQS) direct the delivery of our early childhood education curriculum. Educators at Lilybelle EEC observe children's learning so they can effectively extend their thinking and intentionally introduce them to new experiences which are scaffolded from their ideas. Our educators are treasured for their values, knowledge and their commitment to our Lilybelle families.
Using the NQS as our guide the best practice, we are committed to supporting a sustainable environment and the continuous improvement of our service. We believe a sense of wonder, belonging to and love of our natural environment is critical for young children to develop respectful attitudes towards protecting all living things and being involved in the maintaining of a sustainable environment
